A woman allegedly caught on camera performing oral sex on a fellow passenger on board a Wollongong train is awell-known petty criminal who has a historyof having sex in public.

The Mercury reported earlier this week that train passenger Shane Laurence Brennan was convicted in court ofobscene exposure and offensive behaviour charges after admitting he was on the receiving end of “free” oral sex from a female passenger.

Wollongong Local Court heard Brennan was on board the 9.56am service from Port Kembla to Wollongong on December 14 when he approached a woman who was masturbating on a nearby seat.

After a brief interaction, the woman allegedly began performing oral sex on Brennan. After they finished, Brennan useda 2Lt bottle of cola to clean his penis.

Court documents said Brennan was ordered to front court over the tryst however did not reveal the fate of the woman involved.

The Mercury can now reveal police have charged colourful Port Kembla identity Chantell Gordon with obscene exposure and offensive behaviour over the incident.

Gordonhas a longhistory of run-ins with the law, usually committed while she is under the influence of drugs.

In fact, Gordon is so familiar to local police it is alleged officerswere able to identify her in a recent handbag stealing case from the victim’s unfortunate yetdetailedcharacterisation of Gordon as looking like “adirty old junkie hooker”.

Court documents in that case say the victim told police Gordon was “approximately 40 years old” with short, cropped hair and had“bad breath” and “a coarse voice”.

It was said she was wearinga shiny, triangle-shaped bra andlong baggy track pants at the time.

“Upon hearing the victim’s description of the accused, police were on the opinion it was Chantell Gordon,” officerssaid in their statement to the court.

Gordon is currently behind bars having been bail refused on New Year’s Day over the stealing incident.

Meantime, the Mercury can reveal Gordon’s criminal history includes previous entries for obscene exposure, and she was once caught having sex with a man in broad daylight in grassylandat Port Kembla.

When police caught up with the pair and asked them what they were doing, they sheepishly responded “just having a little fun before we die”.

Gordon will appear in Port Kembla Local Court via video link from jail on Wednesday for a mention of the charges relating to the train incident.
